Waffle case delayed yet again

The case regarding the first-year student who falsely reported a burglary and sexual assault in her Brubacher dorm room as been postponed.
Jessica Waffle is tentatively scheduled to appear at Albany City Court on February 2.
"We offer no comment," said Craig M. Crist, Waffle's attorney from Dreyer Boyajian.
Waffle was charged with falsely reporting a crime, a misdemeanor. If convicted, she faces up to a $1,000 fine or one year in jail.
Waffle said she was sexually assaulted in her dorm room on October 28. She was was arrested on November 9 following an investigation by University Police Department. Waffle reported that two men broke into her Brubacher Hall dormitory room and attempted to sexually assault her before stealing items from her room.
Waffle will not be returning for classes at The College of Saint Rose.
