The case involving a first-year student who falsely reported a crime in late October has been adjourned but is still pending. The next court date is slated for January 25.
Jessica Waffle was arrested on November 9 after she reported that two men broke into her Brubacher Hall dormitory room on October 28 and attempted to sexually assault her before stealing items from her room. She faces a misdemeanor charge, and if convicted, she could receive a one-year jail sentence, or a maximum fine of $1,000. The University Police Department conducted the investigation.
It is unclear whether Waffle will return for the spring semester.

I can't believe her name is really Waffle, considering the changing nature of her story...
