The St. Rose cross country team had a lot of success this past season, posting their best finish ever at the Northeast-10 conference championships, while both the men and women both swept the competition in a dual meet at Le Moyne. Part of this success was contributed by freshman Macky Lloyd, who has had a great start to his collegiate running career.
Q: What's been the biggest factor for this year's turnaround in success? A: We've grown up a little bit over the course of the season. We've got some guys playing defense. We feel a little bit more comfortable at the plate. We're really battling when we get behind in the count.
